Increase your performance with more self-governance

What potential does self-determination have for the individual? This was a question that researchers Macy and Izumi asked themselves in a meta-analysis of 131 organizations that used different interventions to drive internal changes. They studied 19 different interventions and found that one in particular had the greatest effect on how well the organization performed – specifically, establishing self-governing teams.
