Reduced disliking is not the same as increased liking

Do you find that there is antagonism between different groups of employees? Then it is easy to focus on reducing different expressions of intolerance. But reduced intolerance of a group does not automatically lead to acceptance, according to a new theory on cooperation between groups, presented by Todd L. Pittinsky and colleagues. They advocate a new orientation in social psychology focusing on creating acceptance between groups through positive experiences and rewarding meetings.
