Create balance between group and organization

Do you neglect your working group because you are far too focused on what is best for the organization? Such as by putting all your time into business strategy and leaving too little time for involvement in daily teamwork. Researcher Andreas W. Richter et al. studied this in 53 working groups in six organizations. The best combination for a team leader was both to identify with the organization and his or her own working group. It was even better if the leader often met people from other teams and departments. Then the risk of conflict with other groups was reduced while teams became more internally productive at the same time.
