Why is it good to do the exercise?

During the day we are bombarded with impressions and experiences. Some are delightful, others are less delightful. Of course, we should let all impressions have their place. Sometimes, however, we can benefit from letting our attention shine a little extra on what has felt the very, very best. Organizational professor Joyce Bono and her colleagues found in a study that the stress levels and perceived physical and mental discomfort of healthcare employees decreased by reflecting on positive events during the day at the end of each workday.
